The winery Bernard Rion is harvesting 12 hectares on Côte de Nuits and Côte de
Beaune.

In the vineyard and in the wine making, the RION works traditionally
using the knowledge of the past generations. To optimise the quality of all their
wines, they sort out strictly the grapes, exactly the same way from regional wines
to their best appellations.

Sweet Wine made with aligoté grapes from the Côte de Nuits vineyards. We harvest at
maturity, then the grapes will be frozen to bring out the natural sweetness. Afterwards its
fermentation is stopped to obtain a good balance of flavours. The wine is aged for at least
6 months in 228L oak barrels.
